Chiefs elevate RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, G C.J. Hanson for Week 9 vs. Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs have elevated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and guard C.J. Hanson for their Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. This move comes as starting running back Isiah Pacheco is sidelined with a knee injury. Edwards-Helaire, who was a first-round pick by the Chiefs in 2020, returns to action with the team after a brief stint with the New Orleans Saints. He was released by the Saints in late August after playing only two games last year and subsequently rejoined the Chiefs' practice squad. During his rookie season, Edwards-Helaire recorded 1,100 yards from scrimmage but has since struggled to replicate that performance.
