DaQuan Jones ruled out for Week 9 vs. Chiefs with calf injury

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced that defensive tackle DaQuan Jones will miss his third consecutive game due to a calf injury. Jones, who has not practiced all week, has recorded eight total tackles and 2.0 sacks in five games this season. Additionally, wide receiver Joshua Palmer (knee/ankle) and linebacker Shaq Thompson (hamstring) have also been ruled out for Sunday's game against Kansas City. Thompson's hamstring injury has been persistent, causing him to miss practice on Thursday. Receiver Gabe Davis, who is on the practice squad, will not play this week due to inflammation following a recent practice. Safety Taylor Rapp is likely out for the season after undergoing knee surgery, as confirmed by McDermott.
