Jets announce the trade of Quinnen Williams to Dallas

The New York Jets have traded defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys. In exchange, the Jets receive a 2027 first-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick, and defensive tackle Mazi Smith. This move follows earlier discussions between the Cowboys and Jets that included the possibility of involving linebacker Micah Parsons, but the deal did not proceed due to the Jets' inability to accommodate a new contract for Parsons. With this trade, the Cowboys strengthen their defensive line, adding Williams to a roster that includes Kenny Clark and Osa Odighizuwa. Williams, a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro, has compiled 322 tackles, 59 tackles for loss, and 40 sacks over 98 games with the Jets.
