Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin has emerged as a potential frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy following a standout performance against Penn State. His performance was instrumental in Ohio State's offensive success, which included multiple deep passes against a Penn State defense ranked fifth nationally in pass defense.

Sayin's season statistics are impressive, with a completion percentage of 80.7%, a passer rating of 197.1, and 2,188 passing yards, including 23 touchdowns and only three interceptions. His ability to connect with wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate has been a highlight, as both receivers recorded over 120 yards against Penn State.
