Matthew Stafford goes 8-of-8 on opening possession, Rams lead 7-0

The Los Angeles Rams returned from their bye week with strong performance in London, taking an early lead against the New Orleans Saints. Quarterback Matthew Stafford connected with Tyler Higbee for a 1-yard touchdown, concluding a 12-play, 88-yard drive and giving the Rams a 7-0 advantage. The Rams' defense quickly shut down the Saints' rookie quarterback Tyler Shough, forcing a three-and-out. Stafford then efficiently moved the offense downfield, with key contributions from Puka Nacua, who was back in action after an ankle injury, and Davante Adams, who gained 20 yards on a catch. Stafford completed the drive with a perfect 8-of-8 passing for 72 yards, while Nacua caught all four of his targets for 33 yards.
