Steelers announce Marquez Valdes-Scantling signs with practice squad

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad. The move reunites the wide receiver with his former Green Bay Packers teammate, quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Valdes-Scantling had brief stints with the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers this season, recording four receptions for 40 yards with the 49ers before being released following a calf injury. Drafted by the Packers in the fifth round in 2018, he spent his initial four seasons in Green Bay and subsequently won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs. Valdes-Scantling also played for the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints last year. Over his career, he has accumulated 209 catches for 3,606 yards and 20 touchdowns in 111 games.
