Bryce Huff passes physical; Trent Taylor lands on IR
Our Summary
The 49ers have completed the trade for defensive lineman Bryce Huff from Philadelphia after he passed his physical. Additionally, they made several roster changes: signing wide receiver Malik Knowles to a one-year contract, waiving offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere, and placing wide receiver Trent Taylor on injured reserve. Knowles, who started as an undrafted free agent in 2023, has played for the Vikings and Packers but hasn't appeared in a regular-season game. Petit-Frere joined the team in May, and Taylor signed a futures contract in January.
